3Repower Moesano:* energy for the Mesolcina and Calanca valleys
Repower Moesano SA is a subsidiary of Repower. Its shareholders also include municipalities in Mesolcina and Calanca valleys. From 2027, the company will supply electricity to the municipalities of Buseno and Cama and the Media Mesolcina Energia (MME) electricity utility. MME in turn supplies the municipalities of Grono, Lostallo and Soazza.
Repower Moesano SA supplies the municipalities in the Moesa region on the same terms as all other Repower supply areas. As Repower generates the electricity it supplies in its own plants, the energy tariff is based on the production costs. This guarantees customers a stable electricity price in the long term that is not subject to volatile markets.
Partnerships
Repower Moesano SA is a regional partnership. Repower will retain the majority of the shares, with 49 per cent of the company open to investment by interested municipalities in the Moesa region.

A Graubünden company for the regions of Graubünden
As a Graubünden company, Repower is committed to the Moesa region for the long term and is offering municipalities a solution that will enable them to reduce their energy prices in the short term and ensure a stable, cost-effective energy supply in the long run. The objectives set for Repower by the canton of Graubünden are laid down in a government resolution (Doc. 21.12.2021 RB No. 1095/2021): “The government also expects Repower AG to act as a partner to the canton and the municipalities of Graubünden in implementing the canton’s hydropower strategy for 2022–50.”
This is another reason why Repower is seeking to establish a stable partnership with the communities in the Moesa region. The plan going forward is to create new jobs at the Repower Moesano SA headquarters in Grono.
